The Sweet Delilah Swim Club
Theatre Frisco is proud to present The Sweet Delilah Swim Club. This warm hearted production tells the story of five Southern women, whose friendships began on their college swim team. They set aside a long weekend every August to recharge those relationships. Free from husbands, kids, and jobs, they meet at the same beach cottage, the “Sweet Delilah” on North Carolina’s Outer Banks to catch up, laugh, and meddle in each other’s lives. The story focuses on four of those weekends and spans a period of thirty-three years beginning twenty-two years after their college graduation—a hilarious and touching comedy about friendships that last forever.
This stellar cast features Robin Daffinee Coulonge as Sheree, Maxine Frauenheim as Jeri Neal, Sheila D. Rose as Vernadette, Jennifer Stephens Stubbs as Lexi, Lucia A. Welch as Dinah, and is directed by the multi-talented Sherri Small.
Performances will be Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, November 3-19 in the Black Box Theater at Frisco Discovery Center, with both matinees and evening performances available. Tickets are $20-$30 and available at theatrefrisco.com or calling 972-370-2266 during normal business hours. This production is appropriate for all ages, however, we request that you do not bring infants or toddlers to performances.
