INKUBATOR: MOR (A Staged Read) By Plague Mask Players

We need your insight! Join us for a stage reading of the play performed by DFW professionals. After the performance there will be a discussion and then a survey will be sent to attendees to help provide insightful feedback to the playwright to help her develop the work further. Come support a DFW female playwright’s new work and our new work development program!

Plot Summary:
Natalie Washington hasn’t seen or spoken to her father in over a decade, and she likes it that way. When she’s informed of his untimely death she finds herself thrust back into the inner workings of the Washington family where everyone has one question: where the hell have you been? MOR explores the effects of generational trauma, broken relationships and the struggle to forgive.

About INKUBATOR:
The INKUBATOR program was founded to support crucial members of the theatre ecosystem- playwrights! Our Inkubator is a collaborative space for brand new plays to be developed and refined. Our PMP team partners with a playwright and helps them make their new work the best version of itself through several stages of discussion and feedback and new drafts of the script leading up to a workshopped staged reading for an audience, complete with a professional director and actors.
