12 ANGRY JURORS

12 Angry Jurors Cast

Kim White (Juror One)

This is Kim’s first time on The Core Stage. Locally she was most recently seen as Levine in MRT’s Catch Me if You Can, Marie in ACT’s Calendar Girls, and MRT’s CLUE as Mrs. White. Kim recently moved from the Chicago suburbs to the great state of Texas with her husband Larry. She is a 44 year retired Drama Teacher and Director. Kim has acted and directed in over 100 plays and musicals! Kim would like to thank her wonderful family for their love and support (especially her granddaughters her biggest fans)! Kim is thrilled on The Core Stage for the first time!

Joseph Figueiras (Juror Two)

Hello! My name is Joseph Figueiras and I'll be playing the role of Juror #2! I'm a Dallas local on-camera and voiceover actor primarily but I've been breaking into the theater scene over the last few years with Pegasus Theater and their radio-play series and now I'm super excited to be working with a brand new company on one of my personal favorite shows!

David Slater (Juror Three)

David Slater is one of our city’s busiest jazz crooners. He has performed for audiences all over the country, mostly as a singer, but he loves participating in community theater also. In 1987 he was male vocalist winner of TV's Star Search, and subsequently signed a recording contract with Capitol Records. David has toured extensively and worked with some of the best-loved entertainers in the world, including Garth Brooks, Lee Greenwood, Dolly Parton and Tony Orlando.

Scott Hickman (Juror Four)

Scott is excited to be making his first appearance at the Core Theatre with this talented cast and crew. He most recently appeared with the Spectacular Follies in their musical revue STAYIN’ ALIVE! OUR 70S FLASHBACK and as Isidor Straus in TITANIC THE MUSICAL (Repertory Company Theatre). Favorite non-singing roles include Marvin Marvel in FOUR WEDDINGS AND AN ELVIS as well as Maurice Bailee in SWEET REVENGE (both at Rover Dramawerks). Other memorable roles include Tyler Rayburn in LIGHT UP THE SKY, Stuart Dalyrmple in BRIGADOON, Motel in FIDDLER ON THE ROOF, Will Parker in OKLAHOMA! and Robert in COMPANY. Scott is Vice President of the Spectacular Follies, a non-profit that promotes senior performers in the DFW area. Scott would like to thank his family and friends for their continued support and encouragement.

Juanda Tate (Juror Six)

Juanda Tate is new to The Core Theatre. An avid theater-goer and patron of the arts for many years, she began her acting career late in life (a vibrant grandma of two) back in 2018 at the Duncanville Community Theatre. She has worked every area of the theater from backstage crew, to leading lady on stage. Her most notable roles were: Jinx Jenkins in The Savannah Sipping Society, Mrs. Petrelli in Little Old Ladies in Tennis Shoes, and Grace Bodell in Fireflies. Having recently appeared as Florence in Leading Ladies, Juanda decided to expand her acting career outside Duncanville, and she is so happy to be starting that journey with The Core Theatre.

Russell Johnson (Juror Seven)

Russell Johnson makes his Core Theater debut in their 2024 production of 12 Angry Jurors. As an avid fan of courtroom dramas (or courtroom adjacent in this case) he is especially excited to be cast as Juror #7. A professional video editor and content creator by trade, Russell still enjoys stepping out from behind the computer to collaborate on theatrical productions when he can.

Jason Davis (Juror Eight)

Jason R. Davis has been acting for over ten years and is thrilled to be back on stage at The Core Theatre. Most recently he played Lamont in A Debt that Led to Home written by James Hansen Prince. He has also entertained audiences in Proprioception by Marilyn Milstone, Playmakers by Julie Zaffrano, Unnecessary Farce by Not Right Productions, and his first feature film Goatman, written and directed by Trey Murphy. When Jason isn’t spending time on stage, he brings his vibrant and generous energy to the scholars of Jill Stone Elementary where he teaches Special Education. The rest of Jason’s time is spent with family, watching sports, walking on the SoPac Trail near his home, and hanging out with his lovely fiancée.

Carol Kilgore (Juror Nine)

This is Carol's first time on The Core Stage and she is so excited to be here with such a wonderful cast and crew! Recently she played the role of First Lady Crawford (Grace Street Church). Prior to that it has been many (many) years since she has been on stage. However, Carol has loved the theatre all her life and is so happy to be back on stage. Over the years Carol has been involved with productions as prop master, costume assistant, seater, box office, etc. Her day job is a Senior Financial Analyst with NTTA. She is also a martial artist, enjoys attending theatre productions every chance she gets and does diamond painting. (It is similar to cross stitch and beading, but the drills aka shiny beads are glued onto a canvas or other items.) Carol is so appreciative of her husband, family and friends as they support her as she gets back on stage.

Ken Schwartz  (Juror Ten)

Ken is thrilled to be in his first show at The Core Theatre. A lawyer by day, he's been performing around DFW since 2016, including productions of Diary of Anne Frank (Otto Frank), On Golden Pond (Charlie Martin), Neil Simon's Rumors (Lenny Ganz), Face on the Barroom Floor (Jack "Toulouse" Goodheart), and many others. Thanks to Stan and the cast and crew. All the love in the world to Danni and Evan. Enjoy the show!

Ivy Opdyke (Juror Eleven)

Ivy is honored to make her debut at The Core Theatre in this timeless and provocative play. She has been fortunate to appear in many local productions at area theatres such as WaterTower Theatre, MainStage, Brick Road Theatre, Theatre Three, Rover Dramawerks, and Uptown Players. Some favorite roles played are Latrell (A Very Sordid Wedding), Reverend Mother (Nunsense), Stella Livingston (Light Up The Sky) and Anita (West Side Story). Ivy has worn many hats from Restaurant Cashier and Hostess, to High School Drama Teacher, to Corporate Executive Assistant and HR Manager, but has always kept one leg of her soul in the theatre. She is grateful to her loving husband of 44 years, Bob, and to her extraordinary sons, Michael and Matthew, for their unfailing support and encouragement. Appreciation to all those who have guided and carried her. Rest in peace, Daniel.
