A Seat at the Table: The Table Co/Lab to Launch Their Inaugural

Season with New Musical Beyond Perfection

The Table Co/Lab has saved you a seat at their ambitious inaugural season opener

Beyond Perfection, a new musical by local writers Kenady Sean, Emily Horton, and Kaylee

Killingsworth and in co-production with Oh Look Performing Arts Center and Kenady Sean

Productions, LLC.

With intentional collaboration and sweeping community change in mind, The Table

Co/Lab founders Chris Sanders, Caroline Rivera, and Sarah Powell seek to foster a creative

space where underrepresented members of the Dallas arts community can develop their work and

share their stories. Each member of the all-female/non-binary leadership team has deep roots in

the Dallas arts community, with Caroline, Sarah, and Beyond Perfection writer Kenady hailing

from Grapevine where Beyond Perfection will premiere on September 10 th at Hop and Sting

Brewery.

No strangers to new works, the musical will be directed by Rachel Klein and music

directed by Rebecca Lowrey. The cast includes Carlee Ann Kumler, Rylan Oaks, Thi Le,

Samantha Padilla, Isaiah Christopher-Lord Harris, Evan Farris, and Brian Christensen, with

Sienna Riehle rounding out the star-studded team as stage manager and reader.

You can catch Beyond Perfection on September 10 at 7:30 PM at Hop and Sting Brewery

in Grapevine. While General Admission tickets are pay-what-you-can, you can also snag a table

for two that includes two draft beers for $60, or a reserve seat for $25. Donations and ticket sales

will go towards furthering the development of Beyond Perfection and towards the mission of The Table Co/Lab.
