Miss Nelson is Missing!
Welcome Mila Says to DFWCenterStage!
When Mila Vincent, our nine-year-old theater critic, found out that Miss Nelson Is Missing!, she recruited some help finding her. In addition to her co-reviewing grandmother, Johannah Luza, she enlisted her little sister, Avivah, and Mila's teacher to accompany her to CenterStage Theatre Works at the Frisco Discovery Center in Frisco. Mila was delighted with what they found. She thinks you and your grandkids will be, too.
Miss Nelson is Missing!
CenterStage Theatre Works
Frisco Discovery Center, 8004 Dallas Parkway, Frisco
Continues through June 15
Mila: This was my first time to go to the CenterStage Theatre Works in Frisco. Since we were going to see Miss Nelson Is Missing!, I wanted my teacher to go with us. It's a story about a teacher who is very nice but the kids misbehave and don't pay attention at all. There was a boy in my class like that!Miss Nelson gets really frustrated and leaves. A substitute teacher shows up, Miss Swamp, and wow, she is mean! The kids want Miss Nelson to come back. You have to see the play to find out if she comes back or not. This was one of the funniest plays I've ever seen. Every one of the actors were so good. I would have liked to be one of the students in the play. I think it would be really fun. Take your kids or grandkids to see Miss Nelson is Missing! I promise you will love it and so will they!
Johannah: The production was at the Discovery Center in Frisco and there were lots of things to see before the performance started: museums for kids, a huge library with a dinosaur inside and so many activities. The production was really cute and they had our attention the entire time. 5 stars for sure! The theater, the set, and the actors were fantastic! It was a great, cool way to spend a hot Texas afternoon!
